I fail to see how this was inspired by Final Fantasy or Legend of Dragoon.

So it deserves a 0/5? just because it doesn't sound EXACTLY like a particular video game, it's a battle theme, it would be good for an RPG. Enough said.
Thank for for the excellent and detailed review, it really helped me improve my work, this constructive criticism was some of the finest I have seen
The 8-bit tones are WAAAAY too invasive.
Thank you for your feedback; I also notice that now.
Doesn't sound too Final Boss-ish to me, nor very Final Fantasy. If this were like a Final Fantasy final boss, I'd expect to hear epic Rock Organs, as well as more defined bass.
As an original theme though, it's fine.
Thanks. Yes that may be that there's something missing in there. Never played any Final Fantasy games yet, so I also don't know the battle themes quite much. But it was not intended to be a boss battle to be honest.
The NES doesn't have this many audio channels, but I find myself honestly not giving a damn. Excellent work!
2 years later I check my comments... Wow...
Well, the NES is capable of having extra sound channels, however they were never utilised in the US/EUR games. So as a result, people don't think it can be done. v( o.o)v
Hum... A final boss version of Battle #2 from RPG Maker XP. Very nice. It's quite balanced and I love the instrumentation. Keep up the good work.
I just googled Battle 2 and RPG Maker XP. I don't think these sound anything alike
This is based on my original battle theme which has been on Newgrounds since 2004.
Mellow yet not...
Similar in fashion to the original, with the lingering effects of the 80's style synth from the original. Really, this is more of an update from the original. I think I prefer this one to the version that was actually used in the japan only remake...
Wow, thank you for saying so, I appreciate the review!
Signs point to HELL YAH!
Excellent work. Need I say anything else...? ...Not really.
Thanks Somaru! Hell Yeah!
Hell yeah!
I love that synth you got going on for the bass once the trance/techno beat picks up! It's one of my favorite sounds. Reminds me a lot of the Sword of Mana remake on the GBA there. Excellent work.
thanks dude. i've rocked out to the original of this song for a long time but only just got around to making that remix w "real" instruments instead of 8-bit.
I think i always heard this in my head when listening to the original lol
Intelligence can often be misconstrued for insanity... But I have both in ample amounts, so there's no mistaking either!!! NYAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
