Mellow yet not...

Similar in fashion to the original, with the lingering effects of the 80's style synth from the original. Really, this is more of an update from the original. I think I prefer this one to the version that was actually used in the japan only remake...

Realmguys responds:

Wow, thank you for saying so, I appreciate the review!

Excellent work!

I recognize the saws at the beginning. Are they gold or platinum? Either way, good work. Now we just need to locate a completely metal version of this song and just bask in the glory.

Signs point to HELL YAH!

Excellent work. Need I say anything else...? ...Not really.

RobSoundtrack responds:

Thanks Somaru! Hell Yeah!

Hell yeah!

I love that synth you got going on for the bass once the trance/techno beat picks up! It's one of my favorite sounds. Reminds me a lot of the Sword of Mana remake on the GBA there. Excellent work.

Ankalegon responds:

thanks dude. i've rocked out to the original of this song for a long time but only just got around to making that remix w "real" instruments instead of 8-bit.

I think i always heard this in my head when listening to the original lol

Slow paced song makes me thing of a TBS RPG

See above. I think of Front Mission when hearing this...

Fire Emblem?

Nah, but it does sound like the pre-battle tune that you hear in it. And to the review below me, oh gawd, not frigging Teostra...! Well, at least it isn't as bad as Super Saiyan Rajang...

Not quite a final battle..

Still epic regardless. Other suitable applications would include last dungeon, a theme used to psyche up the player at a certain point in a game, or just a high level boss. It just doesn't have that finality to being a true final boss. You know, that "This is it...!" factor. Don't get me wrong, it's still nice. However, I think that you need a slightly more subtle translation when it loops.

...Damn.

I believe that you should re-remix this song with more contemporary technology, and put a heavier drum presence. Other than that, see title.

Epic and epically short.

Well, I expect to see the rest of this song, sometime in the future.

Sword of Mana FTW!

Yep, this is the fight theme when you fight the Dark Lord in Sword of Mana.

Intelligence can often be misconstrued for insanity... But I have both in ample amounts, so there's no mistaking either!!! NYAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
